Get Sick and Tired Already
The greatest catalyst for change - you getting sick and tired of your current reality. Only when you get sick and tired of that extra 10 pounds - really sick and tired of it - will you do what's required to lose it. Only when you get sick and tired of having that bad attitude, will you let it go. I can go on and on. The point is this - your state of mind directly impacts your ability to make a change. Only when the status quo is so stale as to be unacceptable are you likely to do something about it...and only then will you do whatever the situation requires to make the change.

RTLB - Do What the Situation Requires
So often we are overwhelmed or surprised by circumstances in which we find ourselves. Simply 'do what the situation requires.' When my son (now 5 and doing fine) was born 6 weeks early with a host of maladies the choice was clear - I had to do what the situation required. Following this rule settled myriad other decisions that would have otherwise had to be made. Following this rule clears the litter of multiple viewpoints and multiple options. I knew what the situation required for me - and that's what I did.
When folks hear our story they ask 'how did you do all of that?' My answer - I simply did what the situation required.
